Instructions & Troubleshooting

Premium Saber VS Standard Saber

There are two main types of sabers, Premium sabers and Standard sabers. The two major differences between them are the blade type and the effects controller.

For a more detailed look at the features of the sabers, see the demonstration videos here.

Premium sabers have a Xenopixel blade that have LEDs all the way up the blade, allowing for many different effects, whereas Standard sabers have a baselit hilt with powerful LEDs that shine up the hollow blade. This is clearly demonstrated by the two videos below.

PREMIUM

These Premium sabers are the finest sabers available.

They have a special Xenopixel blade that allows for even more lighting and sound effects. Check them out in action here.

If you wish to duel with a saber, we recommend the Standard range of sabers instead.

STANDARD

These entry level sabers are a great way to start your saber collection.

Standard sabers have a durable blade that makes them strong enough for dueling. Check them out in action here.

These baselit sabers come packed with many light and sound effects, but can still withstand a friendly duel. Looking for a saber with more lighting and sound effects? Check out our range of Premium sabers.

Troubleshooting

1. Saber still doesn't start after charging?

Remove the battery and check the battery contact plates to ensure they are making contact. Gently bend them out if they are not making contact, re-insert the battery, and turn the saber on. If there is no response, charge it and try again.

2. Saber has no swing, hum or clash sounds?

Usually this is from low battery power. Charge the saber for at least two hours and try again. For Premium sabers, ensure the sound files are set up on the microSD card and ensure the microSD card is seated properly.

3. Saber stops working suddenly?

Remove the battery and check contact plates to ensure they are making contact. Re-insert the battery, charge the saber and try again. If there is no response, contact us for help.

4. Saber is hot near the emitter?

It is normal for the LED in the emitter to generate heat, but the emitter should diffuse most of the heat. As such, please do not turn on the electronics outside of the hilt, as the heat may damage the electronics without the aluminum emitter to diffuse the heat.
